Our physics inspections comply with the ACR, The Joint Commission, State, industry accepted and/or technical standards for diagnostic medical physics performance monitoring. We meet or exceed the testing timing guidelines for all modalities.

 

We are available for testing when a machine is repaired and requires a physicist inspection within a defined timeframe and/or before being used with patients.

All testing is performed by our qualified medical physicists who who have degrees at the Masters and/or PhD levels, and are certified by American Board of Radiology (ABR), American Board of Medical Physicists (ABMP) or the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine. For mammography, our physicists are MQSA certified, have the pre-requisite training hours, and have met or exceed the minimum number of machine testing for the prior twenty-four (24) months. All physicist are current with their continuing education.

When required, our physicists are registered and/or licensed in the State in which the work is being performed.
